Indiana on my mind....

I saw this and it brought back a LOT of memories from my Indiana days! I studied at IU in Bloomington...loved to see bits of the campus on this video! And I love this guy's music! We saw him once at Kroger's market...his car's battery had run down so he needed to borrow jumping cables (no, he did not ring Triple-A for help...he did it himself). Little ditty about.....

I met someone at the AWC party tonight who had lived in Ohio and Indiana for some years...we both agreed that the fall colors in those states are GORGEOUS! Not that Sweden's trees aren't pretty but the intensity isn't there like in the mid-west/north-east. Agh...feeling homesick maybe I ate too few CANDY CORNS at the party! I miss candy corns.

I think what makes the color in the midwest so outstanding is the variety of trees. There are red, orange, yellow, burgundy and brown leaves and then evergreens mixed in. The peak color here in MI is just over. Now the leaves are falling and we have to start raking!!
