Wanås Sculpture Park

The whole family went to the Wanås Sculpture Park on Friday to show Tom the unusual outdoor sculptures in the forest and in the palace's barns! It 's a lovely place where you can take a picnic lunch or buy something at their cafe (for fika!) Their exhibits change although some are permanent.....like this "Dining Room" scene below. Tom and his camera in the "Pyramid"
"Reflections" glass wall....all of us except Maya who was playing inside the bushes!
As always, there is a KID ROOM at the museum for youngsters (oldsters, too) to create their own art pieces! (no cost)
Our beautiful day ends with a gorgeous orange, yellow, pink, purple and deep blue sunset out my kitchen window!

Glad I found your blog! My son spent a term at Uppsala University has been back 3 times; he loves Sweden! He speaks Swedish but is not quite fluent. I looked at a map and saw that you are nowhere near Uppsala but I see some similarities in the photos on your blog and the many my son has taken. I am excited to read more!
